1. Shipping Coverage & Carriers

  • Delivery Regions: Boarderie offers nationwide delivery across the United States (subject to zip code verification at checkout and on individual product pages).
  • Primary Carrier: We partner closely with FedEx to ensure reliable, efficient, and punctual delivery.

2. Shipping Speeds & Scheduling

Different product categories utilize specific shipping methods tailored to their refrigeration needs:

  1. Cheese & Charcuterie / Baked Brie Boards
    • Shipping Method: Shipped exclusively via FedEx Overnight Shipping.
    • Delivery Days: Regular delivery days are Tuesday through Saturday. Deliveries are typically not available on Sundays and Mondays.
  2. Dessert Boards
    • Shipping Method: Generally shipped via FedEx 2-Day Shipping, or upgraded to overnight shipping based on the selected delivery date at checkout.

Order Cutoff & Delivery Schedule Reference:

  • Place order by 2:00 PM on Monday ➔ Arrives as early as Tuesday
  • Place order by 2:00 PM on Tuesday ➔ Arrives as early as Wednesday
  • Place order by 2:00 PM on Wednesday ➔ Arrives as early as Thursday
  • Place order by 2:00 PM on Thursday ➔ Arrives as early as Friday
  • Place order by 2:00 PM on Friday ➔ Arrives as early as Saturday
  • Place order after 2:00 PM on Friday through Sunday ➔ Arrives as early as the following Tuesday

Note: Customers can freely select and schedule a future delivery date using the calendar widget during checkout.

3. Cold-Chain Temperature Control & Packaging Technology

Because Boarderie’s products contain fresh cheeses, charcuterie, and artisanal ingredients, our packaging incorporates top-tier temperature control design:

  • Custom Insulated Coolers: All boards are packed inside custom heavy-duty insulated boxes and high-performance liners capable of maintaining optimal refrigeration for over 48 hours in transit.
  • Professional Cold Packs: Every package includes a sufficient quantity of Nordic Ice gel packs (eco-friendly options that can be safely disposed of down the drain or reused) to ensure the food remains safely chilled throughout transit.
  • Ready to Enjoy: Products arrive perfectly chilled and are ready to be unpacked and served immediately.

4. Shipping Rates

  • Free Shipping Policy: Many of Boarderie’s core products and promotional items include free nationwide overnight shipping, as displayed on the checkout page.
  • Special / Expedited Delivery: For specific holiday rushes or special timeframe requests, any expedited or weekend-specific delivery fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

5. Receiving Guidelines

  1. No Signature Required: Due to the perishable nature of the food, FedEx deliveries typically do not require a direct signature. Drivers will leave the package in a secure location at the destination (such as a front porch or doorstep).
  2. Prompt Retrieval Recommended: Because these are perishable refrigerated goods, we strongly advise customers to bring the package indoors and unpack/refrigerate or serve promptly on the day of delivery to ensure optimal flavor and food safety.
  3. Address Accuracy: Please ensure all shipping addresses and contact details are accurate at checkout. Boarderie cannot be held responsible for transit delays or spoilage resulting from incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
