Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 2, 2026

Last Updated: September 2, 2026

Welcome to Boarderie (hereinafter referred to as the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read the following Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) carefully before using our website, purchasing our products (including, but not limited to, hand-crafted cheese boards, charcuterie gift boxes, and related culinary accessories), or utilizing any of our services.

By accessing or using this website, registering an account, or purchasing our products, you (hereinafter referred to as the “User” or “Customer”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as all policies incorporated by reference herein (including, but not limited to, the Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please discontinue your use of this website and related services immediately.

I. Account Registration and Usage Guidelines

  1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use this website and purchase products. By using this website, you represent and warrant that you possess the full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  2. Account Security: If you register an account on this website, you are solely responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your account credentials and password, and you accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Boarderie immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  3. Information Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal, billing, and shipping information during registration, ordering, and checkout. You agree to promptly update your information should any changes occur.

II. Products and Ordering

  1. Product Descriptions: Boarderie is committed to accurately displaying the ingredients, appearance, and specifications of our hand-crafted cheese and charcuterie boards. However, because our products are largely hand-crafted and utilize seasonal, perishable ingredients, the actual delivered product may vary slightly in appearance, arrangement, or specific components from the images or descriptions displayed on the website.
  2. Inventory and Pricing: All orders are subject to product availability. We reserve the right to change product prices, specifications, or discontinue any product at any time without prior notice. Prices displayed on the website do not include applicable taxes and shipping fees (unless otherwise stated), which will be itemized at checkout.
  3. Order Acceptance and Cancellation: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, pricing errors, inventory shortages, suspected fraud, or violations of these Terms. If your order is canceled prior to shipment, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

III. Delivery and Perishable Goods Policy

  1. Shipping Services: We ship our products through designated third-party cold-chain logistics partners. Because our products are perishable, it is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the package at the designated delivery address or to follow the provided delivery instructions for proper handling.
  2. Receipt and Inspection: The customer or recipient must immediately inspect the condition of the products upon opening the package. Due to the high sensitivity of food safety and quality to temperature, any claims regarding product damage, spoilage, or missing components must be submitted through our customer service channels within 24 hours of delivery or receipt, accompanied by clear photographic evidence.
  3. Incorrect Address Disclaimer: Boarderie shall not be held liable for product spoilage or loss resulting from delayed or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by you, or the unavailability of the recipient. Such orders are generally non-refundable.

IV. Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy

  1. Perishable Food Nature: Given that the products sold by Boarderie are custom hand-crafted cheese and charcuterie items characterized by a short shelf life and perishable nature, no returns or exchanges are accepted for non-quality-related reasons, except in cases of product defects, severe damage, or mis-shipment caused by us.
  2. Quality Issue Compensation: If your product is rendered inedible due to our fault (such as cold-chain failure, severe damage, or incorrect shipment), please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the goods. Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement or a full/partial refund.

V. Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Copyright and Trademarks: All content included on this website—including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software—is the property of Boarderie or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
  2. Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use this website and purchase products for personal, non-commercial use only. Without the express written permission of Boarderie, no one may copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any content of this website for commercial purposes.

  2. Allergen Notice: Our products may contain, or may be processed in facilities that handle, common allergens including dairy, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and meats. Consumers are responsible for carefully reviewing product ingredient labels. Boarderie assumes no legal liability for any health issues or allergic reactions resulting from a failure to observe allergen warnings.
  3. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boarderie and its directors, employees, partners, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of profits, data loss, or goodwill damage), whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, even if Boarderie has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

  2. Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising between the parties relating to these Terms or the products shall first be resolved through friendly negotiations. If negotiations fail, either party may submit the dispute to a court of competent jurisdiction for litigation.
